RK Designs is a furniture studio and workshop in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. We design and make small-batch sheesham, teak, and mixed-material furniture for homes across India.

For the purposes of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, RK Designs is the data fiduciary for personal information collected through this website. You are the data principal.

We only ask for what we need to reply to you, or to send updates you have requested. Pieces are commissioned by contacting the studio — not through an online checkout.

We use personal information for the reasons you would reasonably expect when you reach out to a furniture studio.

When you tick “I agree to the privacy policy” on the contact form, you consent to us storing and using your message to respond. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.

Newsletter sign-up is separate. Subscribing is optional, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We also process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request (for example a quote or a piece you ask us to make) or to meet a legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when it is needed to run the studio or when the law requires it.

The public site uses cookies and similar storage only as needed to function. Staff login cookies are used only on the studio’s admin pages. This showcase does not use a shopping cart or checkout to collect personal data.

We do not currently run advertising or analytics cookies on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Contact messages are kept so we can continue a conversation and keep a record of custom work. Newsletter emails stay on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you later commission a piece by phone or at the workshop, those details are kept as long as needed to make the work, for aftercare, accounts, and tax records, then removed or archived.

This website is intended for adults browsing the collection or commissioning custom work. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
